BUKIDNON, August 11, 2019─Fuelled by a formula of passion, wit, and solid training, the teacher-journalists in Region X are now poised for success toward notching top spots in the NSPC 2020 tilts.

The participants took inspiration from the gained winning writing styles during the intensive training in school papering entitled “The Writing Styles of Champions” at Manolo Fortich National High School, Bukidnon, on August 11-12.

Taking the lead in offering Region X the appropriate training in school paper management, Dr. Angelina B. Buaron, Region X’s journalism coordinator, spearheaded the regional training facilitated by Mr. Marvin M. Enderes to 156 school paper advisers coming from the 14 divisions of the region.

According to Dr. Buaron, the training marks Region X’s pivotal break to secure its own spotlight in the NSPC platform.

“I am excited about Mr. Enderes’ presentations―considering his performance in this field; all the participants are fortunate because they will learn so much from him,” Dr. Buaron said in an interview.

Mr. Enderes, awarded as Most Outstanding School Paper Adviser in 2013 and the adviser of a school paper adjudged as champion from 2013 to 2016, discussed school paper content and design.

“I’m looking forward to owning a spot in the NSPC stage with this training and with this speaker,” Mr. Robomafel E. Veniales, one of the participants, said in an interview.

Region X has taken leaps of success in NSPC tilts and recently secured the 7th place as Top Performing Region during the NSPC 2019 in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

The regional team will once again compete with the rest of the regions all over the country in this year’s NSPC, which will be hosted by Tuguegarao City in Cagayan Valley Region. │ Roishenn Sumarana
